D.R. Hansard & Son Ltd is a family-run business with over 35 years experience in the public works sector providing civil engineering solutions.
We have worked for local authorities for many years and as such have been placed on the Hertfordshire county council's list of approved contractors. We are also registered with Chas and Constuctionline gold and our workforce all have cscs cards and are DBS checked for working on building sites and schools and we meet all safety requirements required and can provide insurance documentation when required.
Our Projects
We have completed numerous projects, from smaller patios and driveways to larger carriageway repairs and car park construction. Not only do we specialise in tarmac, paving and concrete, we are also trained in sewer connections and repairs. We can also carry out other works such as pothole and patch repair, white lining, street furniture installation, fencing, flat roofing, garage door and frame work, and many more landscape and groundwork jobs.

We also can provide and install a full range of DDA compliant ramps and railings and help design the perfect access to your home or work space.

We have done countless garage area works over the years including forecourt repairs and re-construction, replacement and repairs of garage doors and their frames and removal and replacement of all types of garage roofs.
